Every day of the year, the Orthodox Church commemorates one or more saints and appoints readings from the Gospel and Epistles to be read at the Divine Liturgy. Together these form the Church's living calendar of feasts and remembrances - a daily reminder of the lives of the saints and the words of Christ.
The calendar below follows the New (Revised Julian) Calendar, as used by our parish, and shows the saints and feasts commemorated each day together with the appointed Gospel reading. You can switch between Agenda, Week, and Month views, and click on any entry for more detail.
This calendar is provided by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and lists the Saints and Feasts of each day alongside the Scriptural readings appointed for the Divine Liturgy.
